If you like to contact us for any reason, please use the form below. Your email
should be read within 2 days, but normally much faster.
About submitting news:
After your newstip is submitted we will verify your tip. Once it
has been verified, and found appropiate for IRCJunkie, it will be
posted on the News page, where appropiate with your nick as the tipper.
Please take some time to submit your news. Simply stating
"we released version blah today" will not help me making
a nice article, in that case I will decide wether it is worth for
me to go contact you again with extra questions and to get the quotes
needed for a reasonable standard article. So, include some quotes
I can use. Also, do not assume I know everything right away.
There are many projects and things going on with IRC and I can not
keep up with all! Include all the relevant information, and try
to include the contact addy's of the people I can contact for more
information.
About the time it can take to be published: I do my best, and I
usually read all email within a few hours (unless I'm sleeping).
But from there things can take from just 15 minutes to days.
You can imagine a simple new version announcement can take just
15 minutes to post about (provided you gave me the info I need).
A full scale network fight with several groups of who's stories
are contradicting eachother will take days quite easily.
Above all: I try to make a selection in the news and assure it
is interesting for the general IRC user. yes, that means a new
command on an 100 people network is less interesting to report about
then one on a 150k people network for example.
